Ever found yourself opening that bottle of beer with your teeth at the beach because there weren’t any bottle openers? How about using your fingers to tightening that up that tiny screw in the frames of your glasses? Sure it’s not the end of the world but it’s an annoying task.
So the other day I was walking around Artbox, a container market in Bangkok and I came across a product I had seen a few times on Groupon – the Wallet Ninja. It has got to be one of the quirkiest yet at the same time, practical gadget out there. OK, so it’s not really a gadget but what it is, is a very lightweight, credit card-sized tool that has over 12 unique functional uses. It’s basically an 18-in-1 tool that lets you open bottle caps, cans, and boxes, peel fruit, screw nails and even acts as a mobile phone stand.
What strange little uses but hey, when you’re traveling, it’s extremely useful! It’s also TSA approved so you can leave it in your wallet and take it on the plane.
Personally, I love that I can open my beer bottles, rip open a letter or taped boxes with ease. It’s only selling for $8.69 on Amazon but I managed to get it for a measly $2.75 at Artbox.
Watch this video explaining how it works (ignore Justin Credible’s semi-obnoxious, overly excited voice though) while I go open myself a bottle of beer.
So what do you think? Have you used Wallet Ninja yourself or planning to buy one soon? I surely think it’s a must-have when traveling.
