After taking quite a few panoramic shots from our trips, we decided we need to make it a thing on our blog. In this part of ‘Dose of Panorama‘ series, we’re going to take you to the beautiful Thai islands – Koh Mak and Koh Chang.
Here are some of our favorite panoramic shots of Koh Mak and Koh Chang. Hope you like them!
Koh Mak
First up, we have Koh Mak because well, it was first on our trip.

Koh Kham
While on Koh Mak, we took a short trip to Koh Kham, a private island 1 km to the north. Instead of taking a long tail boat there, we kayaked there instead. It was really exciting and adventurous. Also worth the effort as the water and beach was amazing here.
Koh Chang
From Koh Mak, it was pretty easy getting to Koh Chang. We used the same ferry company to book our ticket so all we had to do was follow one of their staff to their office, pay for the ticket (car and two passengers) and follow them again to the pier. We arrived at the pier and easily drove our car on a large ferry. It could carry at least 20 cars, easily.
I’m going to divide the pictures based on the east side and west side of the island.

Eastside
The east side is definitely quieter and has a more local feel. Having a car or motorbike on Koh Chang really helps in exploring the island. It’s the only reason I could get all these lovely photos.
While driving along the coastal road, I stopped at various scenic viewpoints and if you follow the road, you won’t miss them either.
More coastal views along the road on the east side of Koh Chang.

I don’t know what the beach is called, but on Google Map, it says Lynn&Ralf’s Secret Beach. If you go all the way to Koh Chang Memorial in the southernmost part of the island, you will find it.
If you want to find these spots as well, I recommend renting a car or bike and exploring the island yourself. It would take a day but well worth it.
