It’s back guys! After a successful first year of its inception as the premier Halloween music festival in Thailand, OMG Oh My Ghost is back. With a new line up, concept, and venue, OMG Oh My Ghost is going to be bigger, badder and scarier.
Whether you missed it or attended this music festival in 2018, here is another chance to experience Halloween at one gigantic party with a scary yet crazy fun atmosphere. We’re talking a huge production of frightening decorations and design matched with freaky lights, sounds and of course a killer lineup of EDM, dubstep and hardstyle genre DJs.
Having been to last year’s event, we were not sure if we want to go again but after seeing some of the promos and updates on social media, we could not resist.
These are just some of the things we are looking forward to that seem to be different (better) from OMG Oh My Ghost 2018.
Freakier Setups
At OMG Oh My Ghost 2019, they are moving the venue from an outdoor live park in Rama 9 to an indoor BITEC hall in Bangna. While the hall may be smaller (I am assuming, it could be bigger), it allows the organizers to transform the space a bit more.
That is exactly what it seems like they will be doing from their marketing.
Firstly, the stage is going to have a massive skeletal sculpture or image as the backdrop. This is probably just a concept design below. We think it’s going to be even creepier and cooler.
They have also announced some kind of carnival, a haunted path, and a ghost ground. This is very, very cool because it is clearly going to be more than just a music festival. It’s an actual Halloween festival with Halloween activities.
A live painting station and a special bar (hopefully with Halloween-themed drinks) are also announced for this event. We can’t wait to check them out and tell you all about it.
This is the layout or the venue and where each zone would be. Looks promising and fun!
A new lineup
Headlining the festival is Jauz, an American DJ, known for his trap and dubstep music style and hit song “rock the party”. He also incorporates heavy bass sounds into his mixes. Slushii (also an American musician and DJ) is set to be a special guest performer. It is unclear if he will have his own set or play alongside Jauz. It would be cool if it is the latter.
The lineup also includes Sikdope, Woolii, and Dabin. All three share a similar style in dubstep and EDM. However, we imagine that they would change up their styles so that the audience experience something different between sets. From my experience, the starters always go hard until the middle order brings the beats down a bit before dropping the bass again at the end.
It’s also good to see some local talents being added to the lineup such as Make You Freak (who I first saw and absolutely loved at Dontri Festival).
Scarier outfits
I really think we are going to see people wearing even scarier (or sexy or creative) outfits compared to last year. With movies such as IT and Joker out this year, I guarantee a lot of clowns. I’m thinking of going as one (but with a twist). Or not. I have a few options.
Of course, we also expect a lot of last-minute costumes and classics like zombies, witches, and vampires.
What better way to spend Halloween than with thousands of other freaky-costumed ragers? Also, let us know what are you planning to dress up as (wherever you do go) this year?

oooh, Haunted path sounds cool. I would go if it was a rock concert. But have fun. What will you dress up as this year?
This year, got some ideas. We got some white contact lenses…so some kind of possessed person or zombie/skeleton/vampire mix.
So excited!!!
Went but sadly didn’t get time to check out the haunted path. Food was yummy! The sound system however could’ve been better, however overall loved how everyone was in the Halloween vibe and some good djs
